Hearing the dreck that is Pitbull’s “Don’t Stop the Party” at the gym today got me thinking. Why would anyone would ever listen to such crap? Let alone use it in an advertisement.

Roger RIchards.
Honestly, look at your own portfolio. Lots of dreck there. Stick to larger themes until you can say youre on a W&K arc.
The truth can be painful but facing the facts is the beginning of the journey from good to great, or mediocre to presentable. You be the judge.
No doubt. The portfolio has a long way to go. I’l keep at it for sure. And thanks for giving me permission to be the judge. I wish my wife would do that.
I don’t mind the music choice so much as it fits the overall concept of the creative. However the Bit Bull endorsement at the end is a turn off. The ending was uneventful.
The music choice is after all subjective. I’m just someone who hates it. It seems like a cheesy, obvious choice to say “let’s reach out to the latino market, while still being kinda gen pop.”
And i agree. The whole ad is uneventful. If you like the song I have no problem with that. I’m just glad you’re not my kid cranking it from his bedroom.
